In addition to developing and producing passive vehicle protection technology, IBD Deisenroth and Rheinmetall set up a new company, ADS Gesellschaft für aktive Schutzsysteme mbH – today Rheinmetall Active Protection GmbH –, to develop active vehicle protection systems.
